You’ll have a wonderful time in Maine. I live in SC now but grew up and lived many years in Portland Maine. It is beautiful. Take a little cruise in Casco Bay to see the islands, spend some time shopping in the Old Port section (there are wonderful small restaurants there as well), make sure to get to Fort Williams and stroll the promenade. I hope the weather cooperates for you. They are getting a good bit of rain right now with some flooding. We’ll be traveling there in August to visit family. Be especially blessed, Kathy

There are a few places I want to visit in the US, one of them is Maine (and the West Coast and The Great Lakes).
Love the first picture! Lighthouses are awesome 🙂

A couple years ago, my family and I did a tour of all the Great Lakes and Canada — it was SPECTACULAR! You should do it!

My husband and I went to Maine several years back and flew into Portland and drove up to Camden and stayed. Camden was a gorgeous little town! We took a boat tour of the islands and LOVED it! Have a fabulous time and don’t forget to bring a sweater or light jacket, the night are still cool.

Make sure you get your yarnie goodness fix and visit Tess’ Designer Yarns in town! Hmm…what else, get some crazy flavored popcorn at Coast Maine Popcorn, crazy flavored ice cream at MDI Ice Cream, grab a meal a Dimillo’s floating restaurant. Man, it sounds like all I do is eat, yikes! Shipyard Brewery always has good stuff (if you’re into that). I could go on and on about Maine, we love it up there! We go to Bar Harbor all the time but usually stop in Portland for shopping, eating and to stretch our legs! Have fun!

YES! Awesome ideas, all — especially designer yarns and a floating restaurant!

Oooh Maine! I’ve always wanted to visit – especially Portland, since that’s where Stephen King lives (I think) with his wife. Have a fabulous time!
Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I have nominated you for a Versatile Blogger Award here:
