Hellooooo!
Well, hello, I have missed you (is anybody still there?)! This is the longest blog break I’ve had since the start of this whole thing and it’s been both a blessing and a curse (and a necessity, I suppose). BUT. I hope to get back into the swing of writing and hanging out around here a bit more! I have a date with my Gramma this weekend for Scrabble and whiskey cocktails and craft-supply-shopping . . . and then back to the blog grindstone, I promise!
As for now, I have one free Friday night – all to myself – and I will be starting a crochet project for a book review I’ll be doing. And finally, two announcements:
Numero uno: I have three broomstick lace pins back in stock, for those of you who have been asking!
Dos: This is more warning than announcement . . . I anticipate a lot of wedding related crafts happening here in the upcoming months . . . heads up!

Oooo. The mountains are gonna get so pretty in autumn — I’m a bit jealous! Our autumns have been so short around here lately, like we only have summer and winter now!

my sister got engaged so we are gonna enjoy your wedding crafties!
Mostly my projects lately have been crochet, kitchen towels and a scarf for my mom, a orange and maroon(Hokie colored) shirt for my great niece’s first birthday! Oh and a shawl for myself have all been started.
None crochet stuff has been painting ceramics
and then making mini chalkboards for my sister’s engagement pictures which I am taking for her next Saturday!
