Hi there, everyone. I will be spending a few days with my lovely family, so I won’t be able to post for a bit. I’ll be busy playing Scrabble and Canasta, romping with the pets, joking and laughing, and generally having a good time. Until I return, I thought I’d share a few links that you might be interested in checking out while I’m away.
I loooooove this video, “How to be Alone.” So beautiful. If you haven’t seen it yet, you must.
This video is another must-see. “Moments” is a video by Will Hoffman (for Radiolab) and is based on the book Sum by David Eagleman. It’s a “celebration of life” that captures all the beautiful minutiae that make up our lives, and it is spectacular. To see more Radiolab, click here (I like the “Shorts” that you can search from the box on the right).
Alice at Futuregirl is posting a series of video tutorials called “The Hex-tote Video Crochet-Along.” These videos are thorough and the resulting tote is spectacular, so if you’re looking for a project, please go check this out.
I enjoyed this post, ”Slime-free Marketing” by Jena Coray over at Oh My! Handmade Goodness.
Anna of Noodlehead just released her new “241 Tote Pattern.” Her free patterns are exceptional, so I know this pattern will be extra-super-exceptional (BTW, it’s actually two patterns in one — a beginner and an intermediate option). If I had more sewing time right now, I would snap this pattern up (hey, I’ll probably snap it up, anyway). If you’re looking for a great new sewing project, this might be it.
Finally, this knitting party by BBB Craft over at Design Sponge is over-the-top spectacular. The photos, the details, the recipes! Gah! I keep drooling over every little detail! Go see for yourself (if you haven’t already).
Alrighty, then. I’ll see you soon (hopefully, with some pictures). Have a great weekend!
